Keno Schemes That Work
It might not commonly be seen as the best game in the world of betting, but keno has tons of keen followers. And so it should! It's a routinely entertaining lotto-style game that's a breeze to learn, abundantly available in several different styles, and one that will pay out millions for people who master its many subtle nuances. But let's deal with the beginner's rules here.
When defining keno to amateurs, some wagering pros compare it to the lottery. This is at least to a certain degree correct, in that both games are generally numerical. However, to take that comparison too far will be to minimize the countless unique aspect that make keno so fun. Not like bingo, keno enthusiasts have the power to pick the numbers for each and every card.
Keno cards have a total of 80 numbers, but the player is given an increased degree of personal responsibility by being able to decide on as many (or as few) numbers as he or she feels they need. And it doesn't take a super genius to come up with how to fill out a card: all you do is circle or otherwise mark all your picked numbers with a standardmarker like you had when you were in school.
After you've checked your numbers, take your keno card back to the person at the keno booth. The person will record your numbers and then give you a receipt. Make sure no to misplace this (potentially) expensive piece of paper! Even if the keno pit manager remembers your loud shirt and would like to help out, without a winning receipt in hand, you will be given precisely $.00 for your winning card.
OK, so there you have strategy number one: always make sure to keep your keno receipt. Let us go on to something a little bit more advanced, ok?
After you've checked off your numbers, get into a nice keno booth and observe the action take place on the monitor. This is where the winning numbers are displayed for us. If you checked winning numbers, mark your card accordingly. Sake care not to dally, or sit there congratulating yourself for an obnoxious length of time. You really want to get back to the keno stand to redeem your winnings, and a new drawing will surely get going within five minutes.
Strategy #2: always go back to the keno booth on time!
Since you don't trust yourself to beat that five-minute deadline each time, you always retain the option of buying a "multi-race" ticket. These include the same set of your desired numbers on anywhere from 2 to 20 cards. When the max number of rounds (fitting the amount of tickets) is completed, you may then get off your numb butt and go get your winnings.
Another option is referred to as a "stray and play" keno ticket, which usually allows you make number picks for thirty games or more. Golly, you can take vacation to Italy and not have to get uptight about getting back in time to get your numbers. Most "stray and play" game cards are good for up to a whole year after it's bought!
So now you are aware of a couple necessary methods for winning keno. If you are an experienced gambler, they might seem to be quite obvious. However, it doesn't hurt to brush up on the fundamentals, and if you are a beginner gambler, every tiny bit of advice will help make your keno wagering more entertaining.
