Keno Strategies That Will Make You Rich
It may not ordinarily be seen as the most fun game in the world of gambling, but keno has huge amounts of steadfast admirers. And so it should! It's a always entertaining lottery-type game that's uncomplicated to pickup, abundantly available in a number of different formats, and one that can pay out mega-dollars for gamblers who learn its heaps of subtle rules. But let's deal with the beginner's rules here.
When explaining keno to beginners, some gaming experts compare it to bingo. This is at least to a certain extent correct, in that both games are fundamentally numerical. Yet to carry that comparison too far is likely to be to undervalue the many unique traits that make keno so compelling. Unlike bingo, keno users have the power to choose the numbers for each card.
Keno cards have a grand total of 80 numbers, but the gambler is granted an increased degree of personal responsibility by being able to determine as numerous (or as few) numbers as he or she needs. And it doesn't take a genius to figure out how to fill out a card: all you do is circle or otherwise mark all your handpicked numbers with a good oldball point pen like you used when you were a kid.
Now that you have picked your numbers, take your keno card back to the nice person at the keno stand. The clerk will record your numbers and then give you a receipt. Do not misplace this (potentially) expensive piece of paper! Even if the clerk remembers your mug and would like to help out, without a winning ticket on you, you will get precisely $.00 for your winning card.
Ok, there you have strategy numero uno: always be sure to keep your keno ticket. Let us move to something a little bit more complex, shall we?
Once you've marked your numbers, get yourself into a comfortable keno booth and watch the action unfold on a video monitor. This is where the winning numbers show up in lights. If you have winners, mark your card appropriately. Make sure not to dally, or sit there praising yourself for too great a length of time. You are required to get up to the keno booth to collect your winnings, since a new drawing will most likely start within five minutes.
Strategy number two: always be sure to get back to the keno booth on time!
Since you do not trust yourself to beat that five-minute margin every time, you always retain the option of buying a "multi-race" card. These include the self same set of your desired numbers on anywhere from 2 to twenty tickets. When the max amount of keno games (matching the number of tickets) is played, you will then be able to get off your lazy back side and go redeem your winnings.
Still another alternative is referred to as a "stray and play" keno ticket, which normally allows you make number choices for 30 keno rounds or more. Heck, you can take an ocean cruise and not have to get uptight about getting back in time to get your winnings. Most "stray and play" game tickets are good for up to a whole year after you purchase it!
So now you have learned a handful of essential schemes for winning keno. If you are a skillful gambler, they may seem very obvious. However, it will never hurt to study up on the basics, and if you are a new keno player, every bit of direction will help make your keno games more entertaining.
