Keno Strategies That Will Help You Win
It might not ordinarily be looked at as the most lucrative game in the realm of gambling, but keno has millions and millions of passionate admirers. As well it should! It's a routinely thrilling lottery-type game that's uncomplicated to play, readily available in several assorted variations, and one that will pay out millions of dollars for gamblers who master its innumerable subtle nuances. But let's begin with the beginner's rules for now.
When describing keno to amateurs, some gaming connoisseurs compare it to lotto. This is at least partially correct, in that each game is fundamentally numerical. However, to take that comparison too far can be to devalue the great many unique characteristics that make keno so compelling. Unlike bingo, keno users have the freedom to choose the numbers for each and every card.
Keno cards have a total of 80 numbers, but the player is granted an extra degree of personal responsibility by being able to decide on as numerous (or as few) numbers as she thinks is appropriate. And it doesn't take a nuclear physicist to determine how to fill out a card: all you do is circle or otherwise mark all of your selected numbers with a good old#2 pencil like you had back in school.
Once you've picked your numbers, take the game card back to the girl at the keno stand. The nice person will record those numbers and then hand you a receipt. Don't lose this (potentially) lucrative piece of paper! Even if the clerk remembers your mug and would like to help out, without a winning receipt on you, you will collect exactly $.00 for your actions.
Now there you have strategy numero uno: always take care to keep your keno receipt. Let us go on to something a little more complicated, ok?
After you've selected your numbers, get into a comfy keno booth and watch the action happen on the screen. This is where the winning numbers appear for us. If you selected winning numbers, mark your card appropriately. Sake care not to take your time, or sit there praising yourself for too great a length of time. You are required to get up to the keno booth to redeem your winnings, as a new round of keno will almost certainly get going within not too many minutes.
Strategy #2: always go back to the keno booth on time!
Since you don't trust yourself to meet that 5 minute deadline each time, you always retain the option of buying a "multi-race" ticket. These include the same set of your picked numbers on anywhere from two to 20 cards. When the maximum amount of keno games (the same as the number of tickets) is played, you will then be able to get off your lazy rump and go retrieve your winnings.
Another choice is recognized as a "stray and play" keno slip, which generally allows you make number picks for thirty rounds or more. Hell, you can take an ocean cruise and not have to fret about getting back in time to collect your winnings. Most "stray and play" slips are good for up to a whole year after purchase!
So now you are aware of several needed methods for winning keno. If you are an advanced gambler, they might seem incredibly obvious. Still, it doesn't hurt to brush up on the basic practices, and if you are a novice keno player, every tiny bit of advice will help make your keno games more agreeable.
